What is the Arena app?

Arena is your mobile companion when visiting your favorite arena or going to that event you're so excited about. The Arena app complements and personalizes the experience and enables fans to plan their visit to arenas and events, including purchasing tickets to games & events, as well as connecting to event and team content, social media, and even getting the exclusive upgrade! The Arena app is available on your iPhone and Android smartphone.

Supported Apple Devices (must be running iOS operating system version 8 or greater):

  • Apple Devices that support iBeacon technology for participating clubs:

  • Apple Devices that support Apple Pay technology for participating clubs:
  1. iPhone 6 or newer

 

Supported Android Devices:

The Arena app requires a minimum of Android OS 4.2 (varies by device).

 

Getting Started:

  • Accessing the Arena app
    1. The Arena app does not require a login for use. However, if you would like to see tickets or save a favorite team, venue or performer, an account can be created.  
    2. To take advantage of the Arena app's many features (including in-game features, upgrades, team content, and notifications), please grant permission to allow access to location-based services and notifications when prompted. Also, please ensure Bluetooth, Location and Background App Refresh services are enabled at the device-level in order for the Arena app to make use of iBeacon technology.
    3. Your location information won't be shared without your permission. 
  • Arena Digital Ticketing

Select Clubs will offer additional digital ticketing features which will allow you to purchase new tickets, present existing tickets for entry into Arenas, along with management of your ticket inventory directly from the Arena application. For Clubs that do not support the additional features, the ability to view and present tickets for entry will be available through a ticketing portal accessed through the Arena app.

Navigation and Usage:

  • Discover Tab

The Discover tab will allow you to search for teams and places to find more information about upcoming events. 

  • Places Tab
    1. The Arena app allows you to view detailed information about arenas, performers, teams, and events taking place throughout the year. Plan your visit with game and promotion schedules, ticket purchase, directions, and more.
    2. Make the most of your time at events with maps and directories, companion games (at select locations), highlights, and exclusive content.
    3. By tapping on event information, you will be taken to an "Event Detail" page where you can access content specific to the event.
    4. For select locations, tapping on the "Profile" tab will allow you to link the Arena app to your digital ticketing account(s). After completing the process, you will be able to access and present tickets using the application. If you encounter any difficulty with ticketing accounts, ticket inventory, linking to or presenting the ticket(s), please contact the Box Office for immediate resolution.
  • Profile Tab

The Profile tab will show you your linked accounts, tickets, favorite teams, social media accounts, and notifications preferences.

  • Settings Tab

The Settings tab will allow you to modify your account, ticket accounts, favorite teams, social media accounts, and notifications preferences.

 

Arena Digital Ticketing

For 2016, select Clubs will offer additional digital ticketing features which will allow you to purchase new tickets, present existing tickets at the arena for entry and manage and transfer ticket inventory to and from individuals directly from the Arena app. If you have any questions about the Arena app digital ticketing, please visit the Box Office directly.

  • Purchasing tickets
    1. From an Event page, tap the "Buy Tickets" link
    2. Select your seats
    3. Provide account and payment information
    4. Review and complete your purchase

 

  • Linking and accessing a Ticketing Account
    1. Fans can create and login with an Arena account the first time they open the Arena app
    2. Fans who view the Profile tab without a connected ticketing account will be prompted to link an account

 

  • Scanning a ticket at an Event
    1. Tapping on a ticket from your inventory will display a "Scan View" for display at the arena. This view will display the event barcode and necessary information to verify ticket validity.

 

Frequently Asked Questions:

What should I do if I am unable to present my tickets using Arena app digital ticketing?

If you are unable to access purchased tickets via Arena app digital ticketing, please ensure you are logged into the ticketing account where you purchased your tickets. If you are still having trouble, please contact the local box office for immediate assistance.
